About Bismuth Bi powder:

Is Bismuth Bi-Powder ?
For bismuth powder production, it is better to use freshly prepared A-Bi2O3 at 270°C. To do this, you will need to reduce the solution with molecular and atomic hydrogen. A reduction reaction between a-Bi2O3 and a-3-Bi took place, without formation of an intermediate phase.
Bismuth powder may also be produced using such methods as mechanical comminution and electrolysis at high current densities of nitrate or sulfate solution, electrolysis with methyl alcohol and glacial acid of BiCl3; electrolysis with BiBr3 in A1Cl3 molten A1Cl3; reduction of aqueous solutions in bismuth sodium salts by various agents; and cathodic removal of bismuth dioxide.
